30 June – 1 July, Brussels: AEBIOM & RENEXPO® Bioenergy EUROPE
With the growing importance of bioenergy in Europe the European Biomass Association AEBIOM and the REECO Group have pooled together to organize an international exhibition and conference for bioenergy. Around 30 international exhibitors are expected to participate in the trade fair. There they will present their products, services and latest innovations to an estimated 500 visitors and 300 conference participants.
1 – 2 July, Brussels: ECS 4th European Communication Summit
The European Association of Communication Directors (EACD), the leading network for in-house communication professionals working in Europe, and Communication Director magazine will be hosting the 4th edition of the European Communication Summit.
The ECS is the largest international conference on public relations and communications in Europe. It gathers hundreds of the leading figures from the field to network, share ideas and opinions on strategies, trends and tools in communication and to evaluate the most recent developments in the field.
6 – 9 July, Brussels: 22nd Euromicro Conference on Real-Time Systems (ECRTS10)
The ECRTS10 conference is a forum aimed at covering state-of-the-art research and development in real-time computing. The conference has very strong roots within the Real-Time Laboratories and research groups in both Academia and Industry throughout Europe and across the world. Pursuing a successful tradition, a special Work in Progress (WiP) session will be organised. This session is mainly intended for presentation of on-going and recent work. Additionally, a set of Satellite Workshops focusing on hot topics will be organised.
11 – 16 July, Namur: BOSS XII, 12th Belgian Organic Synthesis Symposium
The BOSS-conference is a unique international symposium as, apart from invited lectures delivered by established organic chemists as well as younger rising stars, two prestigious events are associated with it: a lecture delivered by the recipient of the “Janssen Pharmaceutica Prize for Creativity in Organic Synthesis”, and the “Tetrahedron Chair”: a one-day course on a specific topic in organic synthesis by an eminent lecturer. The conference covers a broad range of timely subjects in the field of organic chemistry.
17 – 21 July, Brussels: 13th European Guides and Scouts Conference
This year and for the first time, the 13th European Guide Conference and the 20th European Scout Conference will take place in Belgium. Delegates of all MOs and NSOs of the two Regions will come together for five days to discuss and adopt regional policies, strategies and general orientations for the coming three years. All delegations will meet jointly to discuss matters of mutual interest and to approve the joint actions, which are also an integral part of the regional plans agreed by the respective separate conferences for the coming three years.

The 8th OPEN DAYS European Week of Regions and Cities will take place between 4 and 7 October 2010.
The biggest annual event on regional and urban development will attract a record number of 245 regions and cities from 34 countries as event partners. The final programme will consist of around 130 high-level seminars, workshops, debates, exhibitions and networking opportunities for around 6,000 participants under the headline "Competitiveness, co-operation and cohesion for all regions". Regions and cities will play a major role in the discussions on 'EU2020' agenda, on the budget review, and on the future of EU cohesion policy post-2013.
As for the previous editions, Resotel has created a special reservation form for this event, offering a wide selection of hotels across different categories and at different prices, all over Brussels.
